I've been playin Mortal Kombat II (Arcade) lately. I thought of postin up a rather disturbinly funny Fatality.

You can guess what happens next, lol.
I still play Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64) quite often, so here's a few interestin pics I took:
 What's Conker doin to Berry?
Just choppin up some Tediz.. =P
A "beaver" magazine? Ook, now that's just wierd - even for porn..
 Guess what this is, LOL.
I love that game, best thing that was ever released for the N64. I'm such a nerd now, I play games too much. I should be breakin a lot more. D=
Anyway, I'm hopin to get a new movie someday. My current interest is Halloween, the original film. Creepyass shit, considered a classic and one of the best horror films to date. Me need, bad. =(
Anyway, I guess that's all for today's entry. I can't wait till my Vicky gets back home. Peace.

| I havent made an entry since, forever... Oh, well, here's one for the record..
This is a long post I made on a movie forum;
it expresses my views on people watchin horror movies nowadays. I am a
big horror movie enthusiast, and therefore thought it would be a good
idea to write this long essay-like post. So here it is, in all its
glory, for all you people who are too lazy to register an account at
the IMDB forums.
People have the wrong attitude for watchin horror flicks these days..
Hi,
I have been into horror movies for quite a lil while now - although not
ownin many movies myself, I have rented quite a few, occasionaly been
to the theatre for some, seen many on TV, and recently bought a few.
And I just wanted to bring to the attention a certain issue that many
horror-fans have probably noticed..
What
is it with this stupid act of machismo a lot of people tend to put up
while watchin horror films nowadays? Is it some kind of sin for a man
or any person of any age in general to be scared by a horror flick? I
have noticed a lot of guys (mostly high-school and college aged) have
been givin this stupid "no horror movie scares me" attitude in which
they TRY to predict everythin, and simply try to seem "untouched" or
never phased by the movie. They are simply doin the contrary of what
one should do when watchin a movie (not just a horror, but any movie in
general) - they are tryin to take control of the movie, rather than
lettin the movie take control of them. A movie is supposed to give you
an experience: you are supposed to relax and just let the atmosphere
take its effect, and as the rest of the elements of the movie slowly
work their way into your psyche - you do not realize that you are still
sittin on that couch watchin a screen, or that some guy on the other
side of the theatre room is eatin popcorn; you literally become lost in
the movie. Of course, a poorly made movie would not be capable of givin
this type of experience to someone, but with the attitude that a lot of
people are puttin now towards horror films, it could ruin a potentially
memorable experience that a good horror film might give. Think of it
this way - if I sat through A Requiem For A Dream, just laughin and
tryin to predict everythin that's gonna happen, I would not have
enjoyed the film and remembered it as a movie that moved me and made me
feel the pain the characters themselves were experiencin. The same can
apply to a horror film. Now, obviously not EVERYONE is gonna be scared,
or at least so easily. I for example, am 18, my imagination is as vivid
as always, but I am not scared nearly as easily I was back when I was
younger. I am obviously far more emotionally stable, more mature, and I
can seperate reality from fiction. I do not get nightmares from horror
films, nor check behind me incase of a killer anymore, but durin that
moment that I am immersed in the film, I live the experience the film
is supposed to give, and therefore, the scare and purpose of the film
is now memorable to me.
As
you see, this issue has become more frequent, and although I normally
shouldn't care about other people, nor what they say or think, it
bothers me to know that a very well made horror film was "garbage" in
their opinion simply because of that attitude. Now, obviously not
everyone is gonna enjoy the film, but it becomes easily notable to me
when the line between tastes and immaturity have been crossed when you
witness people sayin things such as "That movie was supposed to be
scary? Yeah, right.. it was crap". It is also important to note that a
horror flick isn't just a scare, it's a FILM. Fear does not neccesarily
mean a good horror movie, as that is just one part (although important)
of the whole thing.
Therefore,
I must conclude, for all you people that gave that one horror movie you
watched last night a chance, and just tried to make the best of it,
whether you like it or not, good for you. But for the rest who have
simply hid behind a hardened mindset and wore a mask of inpenetrable
manhood - you people are immature and have no real idea what tastes in
movies are. No wonder that women get scared more easily by films than
us guys, they simply mature faster than us and don't actually bother to
laugh at something that wasn't even meant to be funny (Laughin at gore?
Shame on you). Now, I'm not hatin on guys (I'm a guy myself, and I have
pride in bein one), but this is obviously far more frequent amongst us
than the latter. So, really, it seems that a lot of us just need to
grow up and learn what watchin a film is all about..
One
final note: It is quite possible to have watched a lot of horror films
and become used to the genre, therefore not becomin scared anymore, but
even then you should be mature (and smart) enough to know whether the
film is good or not.
I'm pretty sure most of you people found this long, borin and
neverendin, but at least I get to preserve my post here, hehe. Anyway,
lately, I have been into collectin films (mainly horror), and here are
some of the new films I have gotten lately:
The Fog
It was a lousy, lousy attempt at a horror movie. The characters were
rather stupid, and although the idea and concept of a mysterious deadly
fog was interestin, the film just didn't live up to the creativity
behind it. Nice special effects, though - but that doesn't make a good
movie. 3/10
Jaws

Very nice horror movie, and it was made back in the 70s!
The whole style and techniques - and the overall work of the movie -
was innovative and very much impressive. So it doesn't have super special
effects and futuristic computer graphics.. who cares? This movie is a
brilliant piece of work, as both a horror film and a movie in general.
A "must watch" flick - for anyone (jumpy chicks), anywhere (pool),
anytime (night). 8/10
The Shining
What a remarkable piece of work! First a brilliant book, then the
movie. Stephen King gave birth to what is known as The Shining, but it
was director Stanley Kubrick (A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket)
who raised the book into one of the most successful and well-made
horror films of all time. With amazin techniques, a chillin soundtrack,
top-notch actin and a compellin storyline (thanks to Stephen King), The
Shining is a movie that will haunt both our screens and our film
collections forever. A final word - ghosts never die, and neither will
this film; watch it while you're still alive.. 10/10
Requiem For A Dream
Morbid, grim, incredibly depressin, and more movin than any emotional
tidal wave, Requiem For A Dream will hit you harder than any storm ever
could. The sheer quality and talent of the cast and crew is easily
noticed pourin all over this dark and gloomy film. No storm could rain
as many tears this film may make you shed, and no thunderclap could be
as loud, deafenin or disturbin as the impact this film will give even
the most hardened of audiences. Watch it and never live the same
again.. 10/10
A Nightmare On Elm Street
What isn't real can't kill you, the sayin goes, but this film proves
otherwise. A grotesquely delightful classic from the 80s, director Wes
Craven (Scream) shows you that mind can be as deadly as matter. From
the horrifyin dream scenes to the mind-breakinly claustrophic boiler
room, this movie is a lot more than just gore and seat-jumpin
suprises. With atmosphere darker than black itself, and an evil
breachin both the realms of reality and imagination, this film truly
makes you wonder if life is really just a dream.. or a nightmare..
Watch it and remember to always dream cautiously.. 8/10
Just so you people know, I wrote all those lil "reviews", hehe. I
just felt it neccessary to critique my films incase anyone was
interested in checkin the selection out. Anyway, here's a small list of
films that I'm interested in gettin; peep this..
The Ring - Seems interestin, and I heard it's good at spookin your average teenage girl; watch out, Vicky, hehe.. >=)
The Exorcist - One of the BEST
horror movies of all time. Actually, it's among the top 100 films out
there, and considered the scariest thing ever to exist by many, even by
me. Even though I've seen it already, it's still worth ownin.
Alien - Nice sci-fi horror flick, and worth the buy.
Last House On The Left - Heard by many it was good and scary, and seems like an interestin buy.
Fight Club - One of the best films I've EVER seen; very puzzlin and complex, but very entertainin and captivatin. I need this one.
Dave Chappelle Show Season 1 and 2 - I love this show, LOL.
Psycho - A classic Afred Hitchcock film in the realm of horror.
Anyway, I was just thinkin.. I have some bad habits to get rid
of. Whether my actions hurt someone I care about or even myself, I have
to learn more self control, dicipline and rationality. I can't just go
about doin things compulsively.. =/
Well, looks like this is the end of today's entry. Hope I didn't bore anyone, peace...
P.S. - Happy almost 1yr and 6 months anniversary babe!! =DDD
